Job summary

Pella Corporation in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Project Coordinator to manage order entry, purchasing, scheduling, and delivery for customer orders across Retail, Trade, or Commercial segments. The PC works with sales, fulfillment, and 3rd party providers, on-site Monday–Friday, coordinating and prioritizing activities to ensure timely completion.

The role emphasizes strong organizational and communication skills, teamwork, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; AA/Technical degree preferred.
• 0-2 years' customer service or general business experience preferred.
• Prior knowledge of general construction applications and terminology and/or window/door applications desirable but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint; will need to learn PQM, POETS, OMS.
• Excellent verbal and written English; strong public relations and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and follow projects through to completion.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to adapt to changing processes and priorities.

Responsibilities

• External and internal customer contact.
• Reviewing and booking orders from the sales team.
• Purchasing product from vendors and corporate manufacturing facilities.
• Recording key dates and activities related to orders.
• Scheduling and releasing completed product.
• Scheduling of Value Add and Pre-finish.
• Coordinating delivery of customer orders.
• Collects customer payments following installation or delivery as needed.
• Managing recovery process for shortages and damaged product.
• Ordering parts and scheduling service appointments as needed.
• Processing factory credits to Pella Corporation and following up on pending or denied credits.
• Resource for PQM/ADM and product offering questions.
• May assist with physical inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Promotes continuous improvement activities in the department.
