Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a seasoned Project Controls Cost Manager to join our Programs Management Team on major EPC initiatives. This on-site role in Spartanburg, SC covers forecasting, budget analysis, change control, earned value, and risk management to ensure cost integrity across projects.

You will lead the cost controls team, report to senior management, and coordinate with clients and proposals, shaping project financial performance and reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 20 years of project cost controls experience.
• Extensive experience with Total Installed Cost management and reporting.
• Experience with collecting and reporting on field progress / quantities installed.
• Experience coordinating and executing project issues on multi-projects.
• Experience aligning construction cost with Primavera P6 schedule.
• Experience in project controls and financial issues in commercial operations.
• Ability to work full-time on-site in Spartanburg, SC and per diem is offered.
• Experience leading teams on multi-million/billion EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Forecast costs, manage changes, cost management, budget analysis, earned value tracking, risk management, proposals, cashflow, and reporting tools.
• Manage the overall program construction cost controls and reporting function with updates and presentations to management.
• Assist the Program Project Services Director with the Project Controls team management.
