Job summary

The University of California, Merced seeks a Program Coordinator for Personal Growth & Transformative Learning to support student wellbeing and development. You will apply professional student services theories to identify needs and interpret policies, delivering programs and services.

Responsibilities include planning wellness initiatives, budgeting, advising student leaders, coordinating events, and collaborating with campus partners to expand programming for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Master’s degree preferred in a closely related field (Leadership in Student Affairs, Higher Education, Counseling).
• Three years of progressively responsible related experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement wellness, health, and student learning programs; manage program budget; advise student leaders; report to the Associate Director.
• Assist in office planning, hiring, fundraising, supervise interns, and maintain department webpages.
• Coordinate special events and campus initiatives; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; provide technical support; organize alternative programming.
