Job summary

The Outreach Coordinator & Program Manager at University of California, Merced will support two NSF‑funded programs (INSITE and TUSCEB) by designing, implementing, and coordinating outreach and training activities across campus and regional partners.

You will manage programs, create educational materials, supervise students, and handle administrative tasks including budgeting and reporting to advance broader impacts for grants and student development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or HSED or equivalent with five years of administrative/clerical experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area with one year of administrative/clerical experience; direct knowledge of UC policies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and participate in campus-wide outreach projects and activities; prepare and deliver programs related to research and education.
• Coordinate INSITE programming regionally, including travel logistics.
• Create and disseminate handouts, illustrations, presentations, and videos to translate research and education findings; track attendance and expenditures.
• Design and implement new programs for diverse audiences; organize curricula and describe learning outcomes; complete program evaluations.
