Job summary

Spike Electric Controls is seeking a Scheduler I to manage the on-site production schedule, enter data, perform daily maintenance, and chair weekly meetings.

This role supports cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, and production, helping build scalable scheduling structures as the business grows. The Scheduler I may align to specific business units as the organization develops.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor degree preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in scheduling, project coordination, production control, operations administration, planning support, or related role.
• Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail; ability to maintain structured information across multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and common business systems.
• Ability to facilitate meetings, capture action items, follow up professionally, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Chair and facilitate weekly production meetings focused on schedule status, priorities, constraints, risks, and actions.
• Prepare meeting agendas, snapshots, WIP summaries, action logs, and materials for effective meetings.
• Document decisions, action items, owners, due dates, risks, blockers, and follow-up requirements.
• Distribute meeting notes and maintain visibility to open actions until closure.
• Escalate unresolved issues that may affect the production schedule.
• Coordinate with PMO, Project Managers, Production Control, and engineering for schedule accuracy.
