Job summary

State of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City seeks a Procurement Specialist I to manage financial tracking of P-Card expenditures, maintain purchasing records for maintenance contracts, and assist with acquiring goods and services for facility operations.

The role is on-site, full-time, with a salary up to $59,340 based on education and experience; generous leave and a comprehensive benefits package are included.

Qualifications

• Three years of technical clerical work and two years of procurement/contracting experience, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices and payments of claims, requisitions, purchase orders.
• Requesting and tracking change orders as needed.
• Issues service work orders.
• Assist with contracts.
• Acquisitions of goods and services.
• Research and acquisition of repair parts for building systems.
• Research and acquire repair parts for plumbing fixtures, piping, and electrical system parts.
• Inventory and control of replacement parts for building systems.
• Interprets and advises internal and external customers on departmental rules, regulations, and laws.
• Maintain organized electronic filing systems for records and correspondence.
• Perform administrative duties and assist in energy management software entry.
• Other duties as assigned.
