Job summary

Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) in Oklahoma City seeks a Procurement Specialist I to manage financial tracking of P-Card expenditures, maintain complex purchasing records for maintenance contracts, and assist with the acquisition of goods and services for routine and emergency facility needs.

Qualifications

  • Three years of technical clerical work and two years' technical experience in contracting and/or procurement.
  • Substitution of 30 semester hours for each year of the technical clerical work.
  • On-site work in Oklahoma City, OK.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare invoices and payments of claims, requisitions, purchase orders, etc.
  • Requesting and tracking change orders as needed.
  • Issues service work orders
  • Assist with contracts
  • Acquisitions of goods and services
  • Research and acquisition of repair parts for complex heat and air systems
  • Research and acquire repair parts for plumbing fixtures and piping, and electrical system parts
  • Inventory and control of assortment of replacement parts for building systems
  • Interprets and advises internal and external customers on departmental or program rules, regulations, and laws
  • May establish educational and/or training programs
  • Maintain organized electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other materials
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Assist in energy management software entry
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist with OMES you will enjoy:

  • Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
  • Support the Capital Assets Management Department.
  • Salary is up to $59,340.00 based on education and experience.
  • This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Position Summary

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position works in a comfortable office setting with a computer for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild. This position requires standing, bending, crouching, reaching, sitting, hand and finger dexterity. Occasional travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements include three years of technical clerical work and two years of technical experience in contracting and/or procurement; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting 30 semester hours for each year of the technical clerical work only.
