Comrise in Pennington, New Jersey is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support site operations through sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and procure‑to‑pay execution. This on‑site role requires five days per week at the Pennington site with no remote option.

You will independently lead sourcing activities for capital expenditures, facility maintenance services, and operational purchasing, while coordinating with Legal, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure compliant, timely

Qualifikationen

• 1–3 years experience; open to recent graduates with relevant internship
• Biotech industry experience nice‑to‑have
• CAPEX or material procurement experience not required with willingness to learn

Aufgaben

• Lead sourcing for capital expenditures, facility maintenance services, operational purchasing, and other categories.
• Independently manage RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, bids, supplier evaluations, analyses, negotiations, and award recommendations within delegated authority.
• Review purchase requisitions for complete scope, specs, quantities, pricing, and approvals.
• Create, amend, monitor, and close purchase orders for assigned categories and projects.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, technical capability, service, delivery, compliance and risk.
• Identify cost savings, cost avoidance, supplier consolidation, standardization, and process improvements.
• Negotiate and administer MSAs, annual contracts, statements of work and related documents; coordinate with stakeholders for final review.
• Support supplier onboarding, master data maintenance, performance monitoring and issue resolution.
• Resolve PO, receiving, invoice, pricing, quantity, delivery and three-way‑match discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
• Maintain material and supplier master data, pricing records and ERP/SAP entries.
• Monitor supplier performance against contracts and service levels.
• Forecast requirements with internal stakeholders and address procurement risks and opportunities.
• Ensure sourcing approvals and POs are in place before work begins; comply with P2P procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality and other functions on supplier qualification and regulatory requirements.
• Assist audits by maintaining procurement documentation and approvals.
