Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years in a leadership role overseeing 20+ employees in a manufacturing setting.
• Organizational and planning skills to coordinate resources and workflows under dynamic conditions.
• Technical knowledge relevant to the specific operational area, such as production processes, equipment, or service protocols.
• Compliance awareness to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the workflow within a specific operational area (e.g., Lube, DeOil, DryBlast, Parts Wash, Chemical, Cytal, Heat Treat).
• Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff to ensure productivity and proper staffing levels.
• Plan and allocate tasks and resources to meet production goals.
• Monitor processes to ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and take corrective actions when needed.
• Track KPIs, prepare reports on output, attendance, and incidents; use data to drive decisions.
• Address employee issues and take appropriate corrective action.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to reduce waste and risk.
• Liaise between management and frontline staff; communicate priorities and safety updates.
• Flex staffing across areas to balance headcount and overtime to meet goals.
• Attend Gemba walks with management to escalate concerns.
