Job summary

Howmet Aerospace is seeking a 1st Shift Processing Tech I at our City of Industry, California facility (On-site). You will learn to operate shop floor equipment, read instructions in English, and work with the Production Team Leader to meet quality targets.

A strong focus on safety, communication, and teamwork is essential, with opportunities to grow, gain lockout/tagout certification, and contribute to a premier aerospace components supplier.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and basic shop math knowledge.
• Able to read, write and understand basic English instructions.
• Willingness to learn to use measurement instruments and to follow directions.
• Becomes certified in lock out/tag out.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow basic work instructions in English.
• Operate shop floor equipment and measure parts.
• Complete first piece verification and write routine reports.
• Lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly and maintain a positive attitude.
• Communicate effectively with team members and Production Team Leader.
• Learn lock out/tag out steps and safety practices.
