RHI Magnesita is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes across Greensboro, NC and supporting plants with 50% travel. This on-site role focuses on improving safety, quality, productivity, and reliability while driving continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects.

You will collaborate across operations, maintenance, quality, R&D, and technical marketing to implement new technologies and train staff on best practices, leveraging Lean and Six Sigma principles to

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in process engineering or CI in an industrial setting.
• Experience applying Lean and Six Sigma; Green Belt preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Champion safety and EHS excellence across plants.
• Review and maintain manufacturing processes, SOPs, and procedures.
• Serve as SME for plant processes and drive productivity improvements.
• Lead process optimization to boost throughput and reduce variability.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and root causes, implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, R&D, and others to meet business goals.
• Support new technologies, automation, and digital tools to enhance performance.
• Train production personnel on best practices and continuous improvement methods.
• Lead CI initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma to improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
• Evaluate capital investments and support project startup and execution.
• Contribute to engineering projects with process docs, risk assessments, and commissioning plans.
• Maintain Management of Change processes for safe modifications.
