Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Technician to diagnose and complete less complex repairs on generators and components at customer sites. You will use specialized tools, follow standard procedures, and prepare parts and documentation for each service event.

This on-site role emphasizes safety, effective communication with customers, and timely maintenance tasks. You will escalate complex issues to senior technicians, maintain your vehicle and tools, and complete service worksheets and warranty claims

Qualifications

• Basic level field service experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of power generation products.
• HV/LV experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Current valid license required; 2 years driving experience; clean motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Engages customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs using specialized tools and documented procedures.
• Performs preventative maintenance per schedules and standards in the field.
• Escalates unresolved issues to senior technicians or supervisor.
• Completes service documentation and warranty claims in the system.
