Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a technical specialist to diagnose and perform complex generator repairs at customer sites. The role includes preventive maintenance, documentation, and maintaining service tools and vehicles in good condition.

You will develop customer relationships, follow documented procedures, and escalate issues when needed while ensuring safety and quality in every service event.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and execute complex repairs to generators and components at the customer’s site.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities on power generation products in the field.
• Escalate unresolved issues to product specialists or supervisor.
• Complete required documentation in service management systems.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and continually develops productive customer relations and ensures prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.
• Applies the use of specialized tools and follows documented procedures to diagnose and complete repairs at the customer site.
• Maintains service vehicle and tools for cleanliness and proper operation.
• Communicates effectively with different audiences and delivers customer-centric solutions.
• Develops talent and transfers knowledge to technicians and apprentices.
