Job summary

Electrical Automation Services seeks a Controls Technician for our Swedesboro, NJ facility. On-site role with first and second shifts, including weekend work, to maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines.

You will lead troubleshooting, perform root cause analysis, train Electro-Mechanics across shifts, and ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of PLCs, drives, and networks. Strong electrical background required.

Qualifications

• Requires extensive industrial controls, automation or electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
• Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
• Maintain electrical schematics, control programs, system configurations, and equipment documentation.
• Support plant utility systems including steam, refrigeration, HVAC, compressed air, water, and power distribution.
• Follow GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement.
