Job summary
Electrical Automation Services is seeking a Controls Technician for an on-site role in Clayton, NJ. You will maintain and optimize plant-wide electrical, automation, and process control systems on high-speed production lines, providing leadership and training to Electro-Mechanics across shifts.
You will troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues, lead root-cause analysis, and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and equipment while
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with extensive industrial controls, automation, or electrical maintenance experience.
- Proficiency with machine layouts, control drawings, P&IDs, system interconnection drawings, and distributed control systems.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize plant electrical, automation, and process control systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical and controls-related equipment failures.
- Train and coordinate Electro-Mechanics across all shifts.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for PLCs, drives, networks, and production equipment.
