Job summary

Electrical Automation Services is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations at our Elk Grove facility. You will drive equipment reliability, supervise technicians, and coordinate PMs and capital projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, experience with ammonia refrigeration, and a solid grasp of PSM and safety compliance.

• Previous maintenance leadership experience within manufacturing, food production, chemical, or industrial processing environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issues.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with operations and quality teams to improve overall plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support and maintain PSM-related programs and procedures.
• Oversee ammonia refrigeration maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
• Develop and mentor maintenance personnel while building accountability within the department.
