Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Ripon, CA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and support a fast-paced production environment. You will supervise technicians, manage PMs, and coordinate labor while driving accountability across the maintenance function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance leadership in manufacturing.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• PSM regulatory knowledge and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and controls.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating with operations.
• PM and spare parts management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issues.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with operations and quality teams to improve overall plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support and maintain PSM-related programs and procedures.
• Oversee ammonia refrigeration maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
• Develop and mentor maintenance personnel while building accountability within the department.
