Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Stockton, CA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations, improve equipment reliability, and support a fast-paced production environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, troubleshooting ability, and experience in regulated industrial manufacturing environments, including ammonia refrigeration and PSM compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working around ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Working knowledge of PSM compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting background with industrial equipment and plant systems.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of preventative maintenance systems and spare parts management.
• Experience with conveyors, packaging equipment, motors/drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issues.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with operations and quality teams to improve overall plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support and maintain PSM-related programs and procedures.
• Oversee ammonia refrigeration maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
• Develop and mentor maintenance personnel while building accountability within the department.
