Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Lodi, CA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance, improve equipment reliability, and support a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will supervise technicians, drive preventative maintenance, manage spare parts, and ensure OSHA and PSM compliance while partnering with operations and quality teams.

Experience with ammonia refrigeration and capital projects, strong troubleshooting skills, and ability to mentor staff

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of PSM (Process Safety Management) programs and compliance requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting background in industrial equipment and plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls-related equipment issues.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with operations and quality teams to improve overall plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
