Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO AG's Rainin division is seeking a Field Service Technician to support our On-Site service program across a defined geographic region. You will calibrate Rainin and other brands of pipettes at customer sites and assist with mechanical and electronic measurements to ensure conformance to specifications.

You will work with the Area Service Leader and a small team, complete service and expense reports, and travel up to 30% (overnight up to 25%).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Experience with pipettes preferred.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Good mechanical aptitude to disassemble/reassemble precision instruments.
• Proficient computer skills including use of email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support Rainin On-Site service program by working at customer sites.
• Calibrate Rainin and other brands of pipettes.
• Assist with mechanical and electronic measuring, recording, and inspection for serviced pipettes.
• Coordinate with Area Service Leader and work with Field Service Technician.
• Perform pipette repair and calibration on site.
• Represent Rainin professionally to customers.
• Complete service and expense reports; maintain service equipment and parts inventory.
• Travel up to 30% with overnight travel up to 25%.
• Other duties may be assigned.
