Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO, in the United States, seeks an On‑Site Pipette Service Technician to inspect, repair, and calibrate Rainin and other pipettes. You will travel within a defined region, perform field service at customer sites, and assist at Rainin Depot Service Centers when not in the field.

You must have a high school diploma, one year of related experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in manufacturing, instrumentation, or technical work.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills in English.
• Able to read and understand simple instructions and memos.
• Basic computer skills including email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a defined geographic region to inspect, clean, repair, reassemble, and calibrate pipettes.
• Perform pipette repair and calibration at customer sites and Rainin Depots as needed.
• Establish weekly service visit schedules with the Area Service Leader.
• Complete service reports, expense reports, and maintain equipment and parts inventory.
• Promote On-Site Service to customers through outreach and literature distribution.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure quality standards are met.
