Job summary

TaxRise in Irvine, CA is hiring a People Operations Generalist to be the first point of contact for employees and managers. You’ll own employee relations, handle sensitive matters with discretion, and build programs that scale as we grow.

This 100% on-site role collaborates across teams to support a thriving workplace culture. We expect 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, at least 1 year in employee relations, leave and investigations, and solid knowledge of employment law; PH R or SHRM

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience

Responsibilities

• Be the day-to-day People partner for employees and managers across departments
• Own employee relations from intake to resolution
• Escalate to People Leadership when necessary
• Investigate harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and accommodations fairly and thoroughly
• Coach managers through performance, attendance, and difficult conversations
• Administer leaves of absence and accommodations under FMLA, ADA, and state/local law
• Build and maintain leave and employee relations dashboards
• Conduct exit interviews and report turnover trends to leadership
• Champion TaxRise values and drive engagement surveys and action plans
• Maintain and update the employee handbook and manager training
