Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. in Clyde, NC is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, register visits, and coordinate front-desk activities in a fast-paced hospital setting. This on-site role emphasizes compassionate service, accurate data capture, and seamless patient flow.

You’ll work across multiple systems, answer calls, collect demographics and co-pays, and support insurance verification and scheduling. Training is provided for candidates without healthcare background.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process.
• Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answering questions.
• Navigate diverse insurance plans and collect co-pays and provide cost estimates when applicable.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Training provided for candidates without healthcare background.
