Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, handling check‑in, phone inquiries, and data entry across multiple systems in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

Exceptional customer service experience and communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize quickly with high attention to detail.
Experience with patient access, medical registration, insurance verification, or front desk is a plus (but not required).
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service and assist patients and families with the check-in process across multiple systems.
Answer phones and gather accurate patient information quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Support timely access to care by minimizing delays in registration and answering questions.
Build trust with patients during moments of illness, anxiety or confusion.
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to ensure smooth patient flow.
