Job summary

Gillette Children’s is seeking a Patient Access Specialist to join our St. Paul outpatient clinic. The role is full-time, on-site, with hours 6:30am-3:00pm and training initial hours 7:30am-4:00pm for 4–6 weeks.

You will be the first point of contact for patients and families, handling check-in, verifying information, and guiding them through the MyGillette portal. The position emphasizes exceptional patient experience, efficient scheduling, and coordination with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in customer service, administrative, or healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families at check-in and verify demographics/insurance.
• Schedule appointments across specialties timely and align with care plans.
• Assist with clinic navigation and patient portal onboarding.
• Promote MyGillette portal and engage caregivers in reminders.
