Job summary

Gillette Children's is seeking a Nursing Assistant / Unit Coordinator to join our team on the St. Paul Campus. This 0.5 FTE night position (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) offers 8-hour shifts, every other weekend, and onboarding daytime hours for the first eight weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current CPR certification (BLS) required; must obtain within one month if needed.
• Able to safely transport/transfer patients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain awareness of current plans of care.
• Document accurately and in real time.
• Coordinate patient schedules/tests with multiple departments.
• Assist with ADLs and patient transfers as delegated by the nurse.
• Provide family-centered care and respond to family needs.
