Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Must be inquisitive and open to innovation including AI to improve processes.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Admitting duties for all patients admitted for services at the hospital.
• Assign accurate MRNs and complete medical necessity/compliance checks.
• Collect insurance information and process physician orders.
• Explain and obtain patient consents and provide education documents.
• Explain ABN and screen eligibility in insurance verification system.
• Meet point-of-service goals and provide excellent customer service.
• Operate the telephone switchboard for calls and coordinate communications.
