Job summary

MSCCN is seeking a dedicated Parts Counter Associate to serve customers at the counter, answer phones, and assist service departments with timely parts. You will be responsible for processing orders, upselling related items, and maintaining a clean showroom.

The role demands reliable teamwork, basic selling skills, and strong communication. Responsibilities include meeting sales targets, promoting promotions, and coordinating with inventory for stock availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s level not required; High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experience.
• Experience connecting with customers and maintaining rapport.
• Demonstrate basic selling process understanding.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and apps.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Forklift operation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at the counter, on the phone, and internally.
• Maintain positive working relationships with peers and management.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Promote sales through parts promotions and upselling.
• Provide recommendations for related parts or accessories.
• Process orders accurately for in-store and online sales.
• Locate and obtain items; contact Inventory for out-of-stock items.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and address discrepancies.
• Keep showroom clean and merchandise displays.
• Support showroom and parts department operations.
