Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. in Statesville, NC is seeking an on-site Auction Support Specialist to assist the auctioneer during sale days. You will record data, verify vehicle details, and communicate with customers through multiple channels to ensure accurate transactions.

This part-time role requires 15–20 hours weekly (Tue–Thu). Spanish language skills are preferred. The position may involve limited remote tasks for efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Typically less than 2 years of experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stay focused during fast-paced sale-day activities.
• Ability to lift 1–10 pounds.
• Vision includes close, distance, color, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Responsibilities

• Record lane and Simulcast bid amounts in AS400 and enter customer data.
• Verify vehicle information with the auctioneer virtually.
• Ensure correct run order and sold status for each vehicle.
• Monitor and review Simulcast bids with the auctioneer virtually.
• Provide announcements and arbitration support for the auctioneer.
• Coordinate late titles via call and email; use Salesforce for title absent support.
• Respond to customer requests through phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
