Job summary

Cox Automotive in North Carolina is seeking an Auction Support Specialist to record lane and Simulcast bids, verify sold vehicle information, and support the auctioneer on sale days from a local Manheim location.

This on-site, part-time role (approximately 15–20 hours per week, Tuesday to Thursday) may include remote tasks for efficiencies. Compensation ranges from $15.10 to $22.69 per hour, with incentives and benefits described.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Must possess good problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain focused and composed during fast-paced sale-day activities.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear.
• Vision abilities required including close, distance and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AS400 to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts and enter customer data.
• Verify sold vehicle information for accuracy and obtain signatures.
• Assist auctioneer on sale days from a local Cox Automotive Manheim location.
• Verify vehicle run order to ensure correct vehicle and sale.
• Operate monitor virtually and review Simulcast bids.
• Provide arbitration and other vehicle announcements to support auctioneer.
• Call and email on late titles; use Salesforce for title absent support.
• Respond to customer requests via phone, email, chat and ticketing systems.
• Other duties as assigned.
