Job summary

Healthcare Nursing of NYC is seeking an Outpatient Surgical Center Manager to oversee daily operations across our Brooklyn and Bronx centers. This on-site, full-time role balances administrative oversight with clinical support to ensure efficient workflows and high‑quality patient care.

You will coordinate scheduling, manage front desk functions, oversee supply inventory, and support clinical staff to optimize patient flow from intake to discharge.

• Prior experience in an outpatient, surgical center, or medical office setting preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows, compliance standards and patient care processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day center operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and compliance with protocols.
• Manage front desk functions including patient check-in/check-out, registration accuracy, and patient experience.
• Coordinate scheduling workflows, procedure calendars, and provider availability to optimize utilization.
• Monitor and maintain supply inventory, including ordering, stocking, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and documentation requirements.
• Assist with reporting, tracking key performance metrics, and communicating updates to leadership.
• Support clinical staff and providers to ensure smooth patient flow from intake through discharge.
• Assist with room turnover coordination and readiness of procedure rooms.
• Help facilitate pre-op and post-op processes and required documentation.
• Act as liaison between clinical and administrative teams to minimize delays and improve efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and high standards of care.
