Job summary

Crucible ETN in East Tennessee is seeking an Operations Trainer to lead competency-based training and onboard apprentices at our East Tennessee mines. You will develop programs for Mine, Mill, Maintenance and Support functions and ensure training mitigates incidents while improving equipment reliability.

This full-time role emphasizes on-site delivery, safety, and continuous improvement, with collaboration across site managers and technicians to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct competency-based training and maintain related records for employees.
• Consult with managers to assess training needs and develop programs.
• Identify training requirements by analyzing site results and operations.
• Develop and implement training programs for Mine, Mill, Maintenance and Support.
• Ensure trainings prevent incidents and reduce equipment damage.
• Measure impact of training initiatives across sites.
• Coordinate training schedules and monitor training activities.
• Provide classroom and on-the-job training to operators.
• Oversee apprentice operator training and safety practices.
• Maintain PMI, Work Request, Inventory Control and Safety programs.
