Job summary

Crucible ETN in East Tennessee Mines is seeking a Fixed Maintenance technician for mill maintenance to support safe, reliable operation of processing equipment in a mining environment.

The role requires a trade/maintenance qualification with 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, reading blueprints, welding, and basic hand tools. You will work closely with the Asset Management team, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement, with daily safety responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Appropriate trade or related qualification in maintenance of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical equipment or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years experience in maintenance in mining, construction, or industrial plant environment.
• Able to use basic hand tools; math knowledge including sheave sizing, measurement calculations, decimals, fractional conversions, layout math.

• Adhere to MSHA regulatory and company standards.
• Lead a safe work environment with a Safety-First mindset.
• Assist in maintaining short and long-term maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate with warehouse and suppliers regarding parts and consumables.

Assistliaising with warehouse and suppliers (ifappropriate)regardingparts and consumables requirements and plans

Provide progressive Processing operations through keeping up to date with new developments in techniques and computing for maintenance of mechanical equipment andsubmission of ideas for more effective and efficient procedures and methods.

Activelyparticipatein the Asset Management department team to support and promote agreed decisions of the department

Consistently apply Workplace Management Procedures to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and visions and values

Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications / Experience

Appropriate trade or related qualification in maintenance of mechanical,hydraulicand electrical equipment or a related discipline; 3-5years experiencein maintenance, within a mining, construction, or industrial plant environment

Able to use all basic hand tools; Math knowledge including; sheave sizing, measurement calculations, decimals, fractional conversions, layout math

Experience in Horizontal and Vertical Welding, Stick and Structural Welding; Experience readingblue printsand fabricating from those blueprints; Experience burning using theappropriate technique/cutter

Ability to use layout/measurement tools; Able to read micrometers

Able to inspect/repair all mine shaft, hoist, crushers, andcompressors(under instruction)

Basic knowledge of pumps and pumping

Comprehensive knowledge of the Mines Regulation

HS Diploma or equivalent
