Job summary

Vertex, Inc. is seeking a part-time on-site contributor to gain practical experience in a B2B SaaS environment focused on tax, compliance, and certificate processes. You will communicate with customers mainly by email, gather information, and follow established procedures using Microsoft Office and specialized software. The role supports customers across all U.S.

time zones and is scheduled 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Strong, professional written communication skills and ability to ask clear follow-up questions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfort learning and using specialized software tools.
• Coding experience is not required.
• Ability to work on-site in the King of Prussia area for at least 20 hours per week.
• Relevant education, training, or professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers primarily by email and gather/clarify information.
• Follow established procedures to complete accurate, detail-oriented work.
• Use Microsoft Office and specialized software as part of daily tasks.
• Support customers across all U.S. time zones.
• Work on-site in King of Prussia for at least 20 hours per week.
