Job summary

Vertex, Inc. in King of Prussia is seeking an on-site team member to gain practical experience in B2B SaaS while learning about tax, compliance, and certificate processes. You will communicate with customers primarily by email, gather and clarify information, and follow established procedures using Microsoft Office and specialized software to ensure accurate, detail-oriented work.

This team supports customers across all U.S. time zones, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

Build practical experience in B2B SaaS while learning about tax, compliance, and certificate processes at Vertex, Inc., a global indirect tax and compliance technology company. You'll communicate with customers primarily by email, gather and clarify information, follow established procedures, and use Microsoft Office and specialized software to complete accurate, detail-oriented work.

This team supports customers across all U.S. time zones. Work schedules will fall within the team's operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.

Required Qualifications

• Strong, professional written communication skills, including the ability to ask clear follow-up questions.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Comfort learning and using specialized software tools. Coding experience is not required.
• Ability to work on-site in the King of Prussia area for at least 20 hours per week.
• Relevant education, training, or professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to work a consistent, full-time schedule.
• Coursework or experience in accounting, tax, finance, business, or a related field.

This is an on-site role in the King of Prussia area - $22-24/hr
