Job summary

JLL is seeking an Operating Engineer responsible for maintaining and operating facility equipment in Washington, DC, and surrounding areas. You will perform building rounds, execute maintenance tasks, and troubleshoot systems.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least three years of related experience, particularly in HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. This full-time position offers a rotating shift schedule and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing.
• Proficient in reading mechanical and electrical blueprints.
• Competency in electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform building rounds to ensure operability of systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks on building systems.
• Update work order status in real-time using CMMS.
