Job summary

Katmai is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead the operation and maintenance of building systems at a maintenance facility. You will oversee HVAC, dehumidification, and related mechanical work while coordinating with customers and service vendors.

Strong leadership and safety discipline are essential, with a focus on timely response and high service standards. Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in commercial HVAC maintenance, 3+ years in supervisory roles, and EPA universal certification.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum High School Diploma.
• At least 3 years supervising operation and maintenance of complex facilities.
• 6+ years in commercial HVAC maintenance preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required; NATE or equivalent within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for building maintenance issues and manage customer expectations.
• Perform, supervise, and inspect service calls and preventive maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, electrical tasks.
• Act as principal repair technician for complex failures and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Communicate service details and manage customer concerns and complaints.
• Supervise on-site and off-site technicians, vendors, and subcontractors; allocate resources.
• Maintain schedules and performance standards; ensure contract performance.
• Maintain the computerized maintenance management system and ensure punctual attendance.
