Job summary

CSU Stanislaus seeks a temporary, hourly-intermittent work-study student assistant in the Music Department Office. Start on or after November 1, 2026 and end by May 21, 2027, with possible renewal based on budget and performance.

Duties include electronic file creation and maintenance, answering phone and email on behalf of the Music Office, mail pickup and delivery, organizing materials, and coordinating weekly schedules with the ASC, including MS Shifts entries and timesheets.

Qualifications

• Experience in office support or related field.
• Understanding of basic electronic filing methods.
• Ability to work independently after receiving initial instruction.
• Aptitude for error detection and organization.

Responsibilities

• Electronic file creation and maintenance (e.g., scanning and organizing files).
• Phone and email correspondence on behalf of the Music Office.
• Mail pickup and delivery and organization of materials.
• Coordinate weekly work schedule with the ASC and enter monthly schedule to MS Shifts.
• Submit timesheet hours for approval at month end.
• Provide in-person support for Music Office walk-ins and inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned by the Music Office.
