Job summary

Home Instead in Green Bay, WI is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator (Multi-State) to join our corporate Finance team. This on-site role supports payroll operations across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing for 1,500+ employees.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of payroll experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with UKG Pro administration. We offer a collaborative environment and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 3–5 years of payroll experience required.
• Experience with multi-state payroll tax requirements preferred.
• Working knowledge of federal and state labor laws preferred.
• Experience supporting employees with payroll-related questions is a plus

Responsibilities

• Process new hires and employee changes across multiple locations and jurisdictions.
• Review payroll records to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with regulations.
• Apply knowledge of multi-state payroll tax requirements, including withholding and reporting.
• Process wage garnishments, levies, and other court-ordered deductions.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and process corrections as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely payments by reviewing claims and resolving issues.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
