Job summary

AIXTRON SE is seeking experienced on-site Field Service Engineers to support MO-CVD reactors for R&D and high-volume manufacturing. You will lead technical and administrative tasks at customer sites, coordinate local support, and maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive service and documentation.

The role requires 3–4 years in semiconductor environments, a BS in engineering, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical or computer engineering (or equivalent).
• 3–4 years experience in R&D and/or production in semiconductor industry.
• Experience with compound semiconductor & MOCVD is a plus.
• Good written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, warranty/service repairs, preventive maintenance, and system installation on AIXTRON MO-CVD reactors at customer sites.
• Coordinate local support with tech support and be main contact for account manager.
• Provide status reports and communicate schedule changes and parts availability to customers.
• Train less experienced employees and customer representatives on equipment operations and maintenance.
• Maintain documentation of system problems and actions taken and escalate as needed.

Education

BS degree in electrical/mechanical/computer engineering or equivalent education and experience
