Job summary

AIXTRON Inc. is seeking an experienced On-site Field Service Engineer to support customers at their locations with MO CVD reactors.

The role includes troubleshooting, maintenance and upgrades, and close collaboration with account managers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 3–4 years in semiconductor environments, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering or equivalent.
• 3–4 years of experience in R&D or production within the semiconductor industry.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site service activities at customer locations per contract.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and system upgrades on MO CVD reactors.
• Provide status updates and documentation for customers and account managers.
• Train less experienced colleagues and customer representatives.
