Job summary

Rush Truck Centers is seeking Experienced Mobile Diesel Technicians to support our fleet at client locations. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel trucks and equipment, while managing on-site service calls with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The role requires 5 years of Class 7/8 technician experience, a preference for CDL, and a strong mechanical aptitude. Expect a full-time schedule with after-hours availability and ongoing training opportunities in a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of experience as a Class 7 & 8 technician in a dealership or truck service facility.
• Current CDL is preferred but not required.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and technical ability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all aspects of equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and ensure inspections are documented.
• Manage service truck inventory and stay stocked for jobs.
• Diagnose issues using diagnostic equipment and plan repair procedures.
• Perform component replacements (injectors, pistons, bearings, transmissions) as required.
• Document work in the company computer system and maintain safety checks.
