Job summary
Turner Mining Group is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent for our mining operations in Mojave, California. This on-site leadership role directs maintenance of fixed and mobile equipment, drives reliability initiatives, and coaches technicians and crews to maximize asset performance while controlling costs.
The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of supervisory maintenance experience, is skilled in planning and scheduling, and holds a Journeyman certificate or engineering degree; CMRP or equivalent
Qualifications
- High school diploma is required.
- Journeyman’s certificate or engineering degree preferred.
- SMRP CMRP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
- Significant supervisory/leadership experience (5–7 years) in maintenance operations.
- Strong planning, scheduling, and work management experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead safety, environmental, and operating compliance in maintenance activities.
- Provide direct supervision of maintenance technicians, mechanics, and crews on shop floor and in the field.
- Drive reliability-centered maintenance practices and continuous improvement.
- Manage staffing, overtime, and cost control to meet production targets.
- Foster a high-performing maintenance culture and coach team members.
