Job summary

Turner Mining Group seeks a Maintenance Superintendent to lead safe, reliable maintenance for fixed and mobile equipment on site. You will oversee shops, field teams, and reliability initiatives while driving cost efficiency and asset performance.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strategic oversight, and the ability to coach and mentor maintenance technicians and crews to uphold Turner Mining Group standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of supervisory maintenance experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Experience in planning, scheduling, and work management processes.
• Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments with focus on safety and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Safety, Health, Environmental Compliance & Leadership.
• Develop, maintain, and champion a safe working environment through full compliance with Turner Mining Group’s Health & Safety Programs.
• Embed safety leadership across the maintenance team and conduct field audits.
• Provide day-to-day supervision of maintenance technicians, mechanics, and crews including task assignment and coaching.
• Deliver leadership, coaching, and performance management to build competencies and a high-performance culture.
• Manage staffing levels, vacation schedules, and overtime to meet production targets while controlling costs.
