Clean Harbors is seeking a Hazardous Waste Operations Manager for its Medical Waste Division. You will oversee all company activities and manage the InSite staff on the customer site, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of hazardous waste experience (preferably healthcare) and a bachelor's degree. Travel to customer sites and collaboration with logistics, safety, and compliance teams are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–5 years hazardous waste experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Willing to obtain Hep B vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety on site and ensure compliance with policies.
• Oversee onsite employees’ health and safety oversight for the customer’s medical waste.
• Track cradle-to-grave waste generation, storage, and disposal with reports.
• Ensure proper packaging of waste for efficiency and compliance.
• Schedule transportation and disposal of medical waste as needed.
• Maintain equipment for routine service and projects.
• Scope special projects and provide cost estimates.
• Assist customers with data for reporting requirements.
• Conduct facility-wide compliance audits and housekeeping checks.
