Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a Mechanical Project Assistant to support the Project Management team in overseeing the mechanical scope of a solar/BESS project. You will help ensure construction aligns with the owner's contract and specifications.

Responsibilities include coordinating with subcontractors, verifying compliance with design specs, and maintaining accurate documentation while supporting safety and quality initiatives on site.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the solar industry.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical specs and plans.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret specifications and plans for all mechanical aspects of the project.
• Inspect mechanical work and meet with subcontractors to assure progress.
• Verify safety and design specifications are met.
• Direct mechanical personnel to complete project on schedule with quality workmanship.
• Support project management with planning and methods for mechanical activities.
• Ensure reports and records are accurate and timely.
