Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks an on-site Mechanical Project Coordinator to assist the Project Management team in managing the mechanical scope for a solar project. You will help ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the owner's contract and project plans.

Responsibilities include interpreting specifications, inspecting work with subcontractors, monitoring safety, and directing mechanical personnel to meet schedule and quality targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or higher.
• Mechanical engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in the solar industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion CORE Principles daily.
• Read and interpret specifications and plans for all mechanical aspects.
• Inspect mechanical work with sub-contractors to ensure progress.
• Verify safety and design specifications are met.
• Direct mechanical personnel to meet schedule and quality standards.
• Support planning and proper methods for mechanical activities.
• Analyze issues and forecast problems, proposing actions.
• Ensure reports and records are completed accurately and on time.
• Be flexible with scheduling to support project needs.
• Participate in safety meetings.
