Job summary

Qualifications

• Self-directed with the ability to work independently as well as with groups.
• Ability to follow safety, quality, and sanitation standards in a fast-paced plant environment.
• Familiarity with HACCP, FDA and OSHA requirements is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform varying manual, repetitive tasks to process meat from the turkeys.
• Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
• Follow GMP and HACCP procedures related to product safety in the facility.
• Support all Food Safety initiatives.
• Some tasks use tools or equipment; others are performed manually.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Rotate through functions within the processing department as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
