Job summary

Butterball in Arkansas is seeking a production associate to perform manual, repetitive tasks in the turkey processing line, supporting safety and quality standards.

You'll rotate through processing functions, follow GMP and HACCP procedures, and work in a fast-paced plant environment. High school diploma preferred; entry-level friendly, with physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or related preferred.
• Entry level does not require prior experience in a Production role.
• Ability to read and understand HACCP along with FDA and OSHA requirements as needed.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual, repetitive tasks to process meat from the turkeys.
• Ensure product safety and product defense in the plant.
• Follow GMP and HACCP procedures related to product safety.
• Support all Food Safety initiatives.
• Some tasks are performed using tools or equipment, others manually.
• Monitor equipment operation and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Rotate through various functions within the processing department as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
