Job summary

Butterball is seeking a production worker to perform manual and machine-assisted tasks across turkey processing, cutting, and packaging while adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards. The role supports daily production goals in a fast-paced plant.

Applicants should be able to stand for long periods, meet line pace targets, and understand HACCP and FDA/OSHA requirements. Prior food-manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Entry level does not require prior experience.
• Must read and understand HACCP and food-safety requirements.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual, repetitive tasks to process turkey products.
• Ensure product safety and defend quality in the plant.
• Follow GMP and HACCP procedures related to product safety.
• Support all food-safety initiatives in the facility.
• Operate tools or equipment as needed and work manually where required.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Rotate through processing functions and perform other duties as assigned
